On 16 December 2025, the RISKADAPT consortium organised an online technical workshop entitled “Modelling and Assessment of Asset Vulnerability to Extreme Wind”, hosted by UNIBO. The event brought together consortium partners and external participants from the University of Bologna, focusing on advanced modelling approaches for assessing wind-induced impacts on buildings.
The workshop programme covered numerical simulation of extreme winds on tall buildings, structural analysis of atmospheric loads, predictive algorithms for glass breakage, and a dedicated session showcasing the RISKADAPT platform and its capabilities for analysing wind impacts on the built environment. The agenda reflected a multi-scale and interdisciplinary perspective, linking climate, structural, and asset-level analyses.
Approximately 15 participants attended the workshop, including project partners and around ten external participants. As part of the event, ERRA delivered a training session on the RISKADAPT platform, supporting knowledge transfer and practical understanding of the platform’s potential applications in research and engineering contexts.
