BECOME A MEMBER OF THE RISKADAPT COMMUNITY!

Are you interested in climate change events, climate resilience and the need for a better understanding of climate change related risks? Join the RISKADAPT Community and become part of a growing network dedicated to developing innovative solutions for critical infrastructures impacted by climate change.

Any individual or organization dedicated to addressing the multifaceted impacts of climate change on both physical infrastructure(s) and societal well-being. These impacts can be broadly categorized as (a) structural impacts on assets (damage or stress to infrastructure), requiring innovative solutions to ensure their functionality and longevity , as well as (b)  societal and economic impacts to communities, social systems, and economies that demand equitable recovery strategies to minimize long-term consequences.

Are you an expert in climate change, an engineer, an asset owner, a sociologist, a risk manager, a policy maker in the field of sustainability and climate, or a first responder?

We welcome your support to help us bringing the RISKADAPT outcomes to a next-level.

As a member of RISKADAPT community, you can support the design of a decision-making tool that not only addresses the immediate aftermath of climate events but also empowers stakeholders to build resilience, safeguard assets, and promote sustainable recovery for the common good.

You can participate at different levels:

  • Co-design: Actively contribute to the design and testing of tools. Help ensure the solutions are aligned with operational, technical, and societal needs.
  • Collaborate: Provide valuable feedback and support for refining platform features and developed models. Contribute to the identification of data and policy gaps and to the enhancement of climate adaptation decision-making processes.
  • Follow: Stay informed about RISKADAPT developments while exploring potential applications in your field. Build connections with stakeholders to strengthen the platform’s relevance and adoption.
  • Observe: Passively monitor the progress of RISKADAPT and stay updated on its overarching outcomes. Gain insights into innovative solutions for potential future use or collaboration.

For members of the RISKADAPT community we organize Communities of Practice (CoPs) consisting of people with diverse knowledge and expertise in various sectors, such as:

  • Industry, business associations, innovation agencies, enterprises, independent entrepreneurs or other workers
  • Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and other civil society organisations
  • Local, regional and national administrations
  • International organisations
  • Universities and research organisations
